Similan Island

Similan Island is a National Park in Khuraburi district, Phang Nga Province. “Similan” is Malay (Yawi) word which means “nine”. The park is consisting of nine islands. Recently, the park was expanded to included two islands which are Koh Bon and Koh Tachai, so there are 11 islands. The biggest one is Koh Paed (8) which is the symbol of Similan Island. Generally counted among the 10 most interesting dive area in the world because there is the top ten of the world of beautiful fantasy coral reef for both of deep water and shallow water. There is also soft white sand that is like powder and crystal clear water that is the best of all islands in Thailand.
